They say you must share your art for it to exist.

I have no real excuses for such a long delay to this start. My need to display the art I am doing seems to have out weighted the feeling I have that writing about it will not be read.

Also I am prone to run on sentences. Bear with me.

My personal life, my history, started in 1956. Born in Trenton, NJ. I had two brothers with me in the middle. We had few restrictions as both parents worked. Playing in the streets, the semidetatched brick homes and alleys, church yards, canal, railroad cars, Cadwaleder park and the Delaware river all are with me still. That town is where I learned to enjoy beauty.

Although I will show some of my abstract paintings and maybe the surreal ones, I have always had a need to pay tribute to the beauty I see in my world.

I have lived in Trenton,NJ., Paris,France, short times in Philadelphia,PA and Fredericksburg VA, but Brooklyn, NY, (my dad's home town) and the Bronx NY,  and now New Milford, Connecticut have been the longest times.

I went to public schools till college. Attended Alliance Francaise in Paris and worked as an au-pair, brief scholarships in printmaking at Trenton State Teachers college, drawing at Pennsylvania academy of art, Visual Arts major at Mercer County Community College and finished my formal education at The School of Visual Arts, NYC.

I have 2 successful grown children and a long term patient husband. So life has become livable, despite my many worries. I am now able to devote much more time to either twiddling my thumbs or doodling. Expanding the doodling is a current goal.

I hope you will enjoy my posts, leave me comments if you wish and if you come up with an idea or a favorite object or place you would like me to paint, let me know. I love to paint small memorials to the past. Objects I own and need to get rid of, but for the memory. Do you have such a place or an object that would look good as a painting?
